Cooksy Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-13
These terms describe the baseline rules for using Cooksy 2.0 public release candidates.
Service
Cooksy is a multi-device recipe platform for Desktop, Android and iOS. It helps users import, organize, synchronize, process and export recipes through a single Cooksy account and a central cloud backend.
Account
Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure and for activity performed through their account. Cooksy may require login, verification, session management or additional security checks.
User Content
Users remain responsible for recipe content, documents, photos and other materials they upload to Cooksy. Users must have the right to upload and process that content.
Cooksy may process uploaded content to provide the service, including import, cloud storage, synchronization, export, support, security and troubleshooting.
Acceptable Use
Users must not use Cooksy to:
- upload illegal, harmful or infringing content
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- disrupt the service or bypass technical limits
- abuse billing, support or app review systems
- misuse exports, templates or generated files
- use Cooksy for illegal commercial or automated abuse
Plans And Entitlements
Cooksy may offer free and paid plans. Feature access, quotas and premium status are resolved by the backend entitlement service. If in-app purchases are enabled on Android or iOS, the relevant platform billing rules also apply.
Subscription state may depend on payment provider callbacks, store processing, refunds, chargebacks, plan changes or entitlement reconciliation.
Availability
Cooksy aims to provide a reliable service, but availability may be affected by maintenance, provider outages, store review processes, network issues or other operational events.
Cooksy may update, suspend or limit features when needed for security, reliability, compliance or product maintenance.
Data Export And Deletion
Users may request support for account access, export, correction or deletion. The practical process must match the published privacy policy and active backend capabilities.
Disclaimers
Cooksy helps organize recipe information. It does not provide medical, allergy, nutrition, dietary, food safety or professional advice. Users remain responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, cooking safety and suitability.
Changes
Cooksy may update the service and these terms. Material changes should be communicated through the app, website, store listing, email or another appropriate channel.
