How Cooksy Uses Data

Cooksy uses data to:

Payments

Cooksy uses a central backend entitlement model. Depending on the platform and release channel, purchases may be processed through Stripe, Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit. Payment providers process payment details under their own policies. Cooksy stores only the purchase references and entitlement state needed to provide the service.

Cookies And Analytics

Cooksy does not use product analytics, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies on the public launch pages at this stage.

The web app may use technical browser storage, such as localStorage, sessionStorage, session tokens or device identifiers, to keep users signed in, protect accounts, remember preferences and operate the service.

If non-essential analytics, advertising pixels or marketing cookies are added later, this policy and the consent flow should be updated before activation.

Sharing And Service Providers

Cooksy may use infrastructure and service providers for hosting, storage, monitoring, payments, app distribution and support. Data is shared only as needed to operate Cooksy, comply with law, prevent abuse or protect the service.

Cooksy does not sell user data.

Security

Cooksy is designed so critical business logic, subscription state and export processing live in the backend. Secrets are not embedded in client apps. Production operations should use HTTPS, restricted secret access, audit logs, managed database access and backups.

Retention And Deletion

Account and recipe archive data are retained while the account is active or as needed to provide the service. Some logs, backups and audit records may be retained for a limited period for security, reliability and legal reasons.

Users can request account or data deletion through the support contact published for Cooksy. Deletion requests are handled according to the active production support process and applicable legal requirements.

User Choices

Users may request support for:

Children

Cooksy is not intended for children and is not designed to knowingly collect data from children.

International Users

Cooksy may be used across different regions. Privacy rights can vary by country or state. Cooksy will handle requests according to applicable law and the active production support process.
